Limited Trialware

Bluestacks provides an iPhone emulator for your computer, where you can run iPhone apps on it & could be ideal for those who do not own an iPhone or would like to be able to use their apps on a larger screen, however the platform takes the term "trialware" to the extremes...  My first attempt to use this emulator was when I was attempting to use the Destiny Companion app, however later found out that I could do most of what I was attempting through the WebGL app on your profile after you had logged into the Bungie website.  When I first installed Bluestacks & the Destiny Companion app, everything was working fine; however after I had shut down Bluestacks & attempted to start it up again, I immediately got prompted I needed to complete some tasks to be able to continue using it (most of those requiring purchases or signing up for online services/mailing lists).  At this point I decided that using this emulator was not worth the hassle, still not knowing about the WebGL app on the Bungie website, but I decided I was better without the added convenience of the Destiny Companion app if it meant the inconvenience of having to purchase products or getting my personal information on mailing/spam lists & uninstalled Bluestacks on the spot.  For the trouble that Bluestacks puts you through to use it, it would perhaps be better if it had a paid option rather than forcing a number of tasks that may end up costing you more than the purchase of the emulator itself...
